We depart safely from Rock, Padstow or Port Isaac and our skippers will take you along the Camel Estuary and out onto the Atlantic. You'll enjoy spotting dolphins, seals, seabirds and when the season is right, puffins, which nest on the rocky crags off shore.
Our private trips offer more comfort and speedier boarding so that you get more time to sit back, relax and enjoy. The trips can vary depending on sea conditions, however you'll enjoy breath-taking views of Daymer Bay, Polzeath Beach, the Rumps, Pentire Head and Mouls Island. We travel as far as Tintagel and Boscastle too and regularly go to the fishing village of Port Isaac where Doc Martin is filmed and The Fisherman’s Friends gather.

We have been working hard behind the scenes to further refine our Covid secure procedures. We closely follow government, statutory body and harbour master guidelines and have created a Wavehunters Covid Charter, which outlines what we promise to do and what we expect our customers to do in order to keep everyone safe. Our Covid Charter can be found in the website footer. When seated indoors on our water taxi, please wear a facemask in accordance with current government advice.
All our boats have life jackets for each passenger. Waterproofs are not supplied but we recommend you bring one on board and dress for the elements, the weather can change quickly.
We offer private trips and charters for these occasions. Get in touch for more info.
We endeavour to make all of our boat trips accessible to everyone and is usually from a pontoon at Padstow or Rock. If you have any mobility issues please contact the office before booking and we can advise on the best time and departure point. During spring tides there is occasionally a walk along the beaches during low tide at both Padstow and Rock. Access onto our boats from the beaches is via a small household stepladder.
There is no age limit for our boat trips or charters.
