We offer a number of ways for you to explore the dramatic, rugged coastline of North Cornwall. Whether you are a first-time or experienced sailor, our boat trips take you along Cornwall’s unique coastline to look for a stunning array of wildlife. Depending on the seasons this may include puffins (spring through to early summer) peregrine falcons, dolphins, seals, minke whale, sei whale, jellyfish, sunfish, porpoise. On beautiful sunny days when the ocean is crystal clear we can spot lobsters crawling along the ocean bed in the shallow waters of seal caves. Our twin-engine 400hp boats offer an exhilarating outdoor adventure on either a 1 or 2 hour safari and coastal tour.
Departing from Rock or Padstow, our skippers will take you along the Camel Estuary and out onto the Atlantic. This memorable journey offers views of Daymer Bay, Polzeath Beach, the Rumps, Pentire Head and Mouls Island. On our 2 hour trip we can travel as far as Tintagel, Boscastle and regularly go to the fishing village of Port Isaac where Doc Martin is filmed and is the home of The Fisherman’s Friends. For returning customers who have already experienced this route we can also head southwest to Mother Ivy’s Bay and the Padstow lifeboat station.
The North Cornwall coastline is registered by Natural England as an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB).
We endeavour to make all of our boat trips accessible to everyone and is usually from a pontoon at Padstow or Rock. If you have any mobility issues please contact the office before booking and we can advise on the best time and departure point. During spring tides there is occasionally a walk along the beaches during low tide at both Padstow and Rock. Access onto our boats from the beaches is via a small household stepladder.
Prices will vary depending on your trip, please see the price guide or call our office if you would like to discuss a speciality trip which will be individually costed.
Our skippers are all well qualified local seamen who are versed in animal behaviour and habitats and will do their best to provide you with a commentary of any sightings. Additionally they are knowledgable about our spectacular coastline including archaeological and geological features. Most of our skippers have either served as an RNLI team member or have participated in training exercises alongside them, so you’ll be in very safe hands. We have a compulsory life jacket policy for every person regardless of age.
Dogs are welcome at no extra charge but please be aware that not all dogs like boat trips.

If you would like us to organise something special, personal and private we can help you to organise a speciality trip. In the past we have had bookings for anniversaries, birthdays, stag/hen events, photography/drone trips, corporate events, school trips and the spreading of ashes.
On a private trip you could even try fishing, stand-up paddle-boarding, take a swim or have a picnic in an otherwise inaccessible bay. Our day is extended in the summer months with sunset safaris - one particular private booking included a very special proposal!
