Is there mobility access in Padstow?
All boat access points require steps (or on some occasion of lower tides a 10-15 minute walk on the beach – we always advise you of this) so if assistance is needed we recommend having the pick up location at Rock for easy access without steps and (as per our booking confirmation) always best to leave yourself plenty of time.
Is there mobility access in Rock?
Yes, in Rock there is a pontoon good for anyone who requires mobility assistance. Low tide will require a beach pick up which is a 10-15 minutes walk away and a ladder to access the boat. Skippers are always on hand to help. Please call for any help arranging a trip which requires mobility access and we will advise on best pick up and avoid low tide where possible
What is your boat trip cancellation policy?
If we cancel due to sea conditions, skipper absence or boat malfunction you are entitled to a full refund, a rescheduled date/time or a credit to your account. If you cancel for any reason then we will try to reschedule where possible, or you can have credit to your account. We are unable to offer a refund if cancellation is within 30 days of the trip.
Can we jump off the boats into the sea?
Yes! One of the perks of a private boat trip is that our skippers can take you to a sheltered cove for a dive in the sea or even a paddle board further away from regular beaches. We do recommend that if you’d like to jump in, aim for trips 90 minutes and over so as to allow travel time to the locations.
Suitable for all ages?
Yes they are, however younger children may enjoy it less if conditions are a bit rougher. For any young children please call us for up to date condition information.
Can we take dogs?
Yes, however if you are able to leave them at home then we advise doing so as not all dogs like the sea. However if your furry friend is a sea creature at heart they are more than welcome!
Can all Boat Trips go from Port Isaac?
We are unable to run all our trips from Port Isaac. It is tide and conditions dependent, and requires all passengers to have good mobility due to the steps onto the boat which we will require you confirm during booking a trip. Any concerns please call one of our team members who can advise you on timings and trips.
What’s the minimum number of people needed to run a boat trip?
Our Private Sea Safaris always run. Any Sea Safari sold by the seat requires a minimum booking of four seats to run.
Are lifejackets and waterproofs included?
All our boats have life jackets for each passenger. Waterproofs are not supplied but we recommend you bring one on board and dress for the elements, the weather can change quickly.
Do you offer trips for family celebrations and memorials?
We offer private trips and charters for these occasions. Get in touch for more info.
What if I have mobility issues?
We endeavour to make all of our boat trips accessible to everyone and is usually from a pontoon at Padstow or Rock. If you have any mobility issues please contact the office before booking and we can advise on the best time and departure point. During spring tides there is occasionally a walk along the beaches during low tide at both Padstow and Rock. Access onto our boats from the beaches is via a small household stepladder.
Are there any age restrictions for your boat trips?
There is no age limit for our boat trips or charters.

This was an amazing experience, Jim was a wonderful skipper who had fantastic knowledge of both the wildlife and the local area. We were also lucky enough to see a wide range of sea birds, including puffins, and seals and dolphins. Jim had great knowledge of how to interact with the wildlife while also taking care not to disturb them so we got an up close experience with the dolphins who came right up to the boat. Would highly recommend this trip!

Just a fantastic ride. Met by skipper Dave, quickly renamed captain Dave by our two girls. We all loved the speed, bumps, and waves, the dolphins (albeit very briefly) the seals and bird life. The trips into the coves and information and stories about the surrounding coastline were great. Just a fantastic way to see such a beautiful part of the world from a completely different vantage point. The whole trip was worth every single penny. Thankyou.

Outstanding. So kind to my three year old who didn’t want to get on. Saw seals dolphins and puffins. Flexible to do one-hour trips when most only do two hours. Will be back.

Absolutely amazing!! Andy was so informative and really made the experience! We didn’t expect to see too much as it’s all down to luck so having dolphins come right up to the boat was breath-taking! Would highly recommend.

Brilliant brilliant brilliant. Three of us went and we all really enjoyed it. We saw dolphins close and upfront. They were weaving up to underneath the boat. I would say, if you don’t like fairground rides you probably shouldn’t go! But if you like exciting boat trips then this is just for you. Take warm clothes, even if it looks like it’s a sunshiny day.

Great trip, and value for money. Saw puffins and dolphins that played alongside the boat. Jake had a lot of knowledge about the area which all added to the experience. Would thoroughly recommend this adventure.

Great trip! Felt very lucky to see both dolphins and puffins. Friendly, knowledgeable skipper.

Without a doubt a highlight of our holiday in Cornwall. My two boys, aged 11 and 17, loved it. The sea was choppy but this added to the trip and we felt safe with the expert and knowledgeable Andy, who did his best to find some wildlife for us. Who knew Sunfish visit U.K. waters? This is a must-do for any visit to the area.

We went out on a 2hr boat ride, which was an incredible experience that we would recommend for everyone. Beautiful, dramatic coastline and lots of interesting snippets of local history as we pulled up into stunning little coves and old ports on the way. We were lucky enough to see 3 seals sunbathing on rocks and bobbing in the sea, which was lovely. Also the ladies that were organising the tours, could not have been nicer and went above and beyond to ensure we all got to go out together. Highly recommend that you don’t miss out on this incredible experience. 10 out of 10!

Brilliant two hour sea safari today, the wonderful weather and calm seas helped, but also felt totally relaxed as the rib raced across the water. Our guide clearly knew the local area and coastline, full of interesting information, and we did indeed see puffins, Dolphins, a seal, and even a bizarre sun fish! Highly recommended.

Our skipper for the trip was Andy, also a helmsman at the Port Isaac lifeboat station, who has a wealth of knowledge of the marine environment and local area. Andy took us out for a two hour trip where we saw a lot of bird life but sadly no dolphins (each of the other trips that day had been lucky). The trip was peppered with stops to hear stories of the land and people as well as the sea, which our kids (age range 3-6 ish) loved. One of your younger ones fell as sleep despite the chop. Loved it!

A brilliant 90 mins. Saw lots of dolphins and the views of the coastline were spectacular. Very friendly person on the RIB. Thanks.
