How to Hire Your Wetsuit
Hiring a wetsuit is a simple and easy process with Wavehunters. No need to prebook, just come to the surf school at Watergate bay or Polzeath on the beach and a member of our team will organise the rest!
On the day, just bring a form of ID to collect your high-quality, fitted wetsuit and get straight into the water.

Do I need to book a wetsuit in advance, or can I just turn up?
No need to prebook just show up to the surf school at Watergate bay or look for the Wavehunters flag at the surf school on Polzeath beach and the team will get you sorted.
What is included in the hire?
Your hire includes a quality fitted wetsuit and a safe place to store your valuables while you surf! Accessories like boots, gloves, or hoods are available separately as well as surfboards
What thickness are your wetsuits?
Our standard wetsuits are 4/3mm, designed by Alder and made to keep you warm in typical Cornish waters. If its peak winter just add on a pair of boots and gloves and you’re good to go!
Can I hire for just the hour or multiple days?
We offer flexible hire periods from a single session to several days to suit your plans.
Do you have wetsuits available in all sizes?
Yes, we carry a full range of sizes for men, women, and children.
What do I need to wear under a wetsuit?
For hygiene and easy changing, we recommend wearing just a swimsuit.
