Advance bookings made on-line will be charged to your account at the time you make your booking. You will receive an email confirming your booking, bring this with you on the day to exchange for your booked activity (surf lesson, SUP or boat trip)
When booking an activity, a contract is made when the booking is confirmed by Wavehunters either in writing, email or verbally. In the case of late telephone bookings, when written/e-mail confirmation is not possible in time then the agreement is a verbal contract. When making a booking with Wavehunters you are confirming that you have read and agree with these terms and conditions. Exceptions to these terms and conditions cannot be made for any reason as we run an extremely high quality, tight margin program with limited spaces.
When booking an activity, payment is taken by Wavehunters UK LTD. A declaration form must be filled in and completed before a person can take part in any course. Wavehunters do not accept any liability for loss caused by failure to complete the declaration form.
Wavehunters require 100% of the total activity cost when booking. Wavehunters have the right to cancel a person's place on the activity if full payment is not received. Activity reminders will not always be sent.
All cancellations must be sent in writing or email wherever possible and will be effective on the date which they are received by Wavehunters. Cancellation charges are payable as follows: Over 28 days before lesson date: No cancellation charges applicable (credit note or full refund available)
Less than 28 days before lesson date: 100% of total cost payable. Gift vouchers are non-refundable but can be transferred to different recipients, valid for 1 year from date of purchase. Participants that fail to show will be charged in full for the lesson, no exceptions.
Very occasionally, we may be required to cancel our activities at short notice for operational or safety reasons (e.g. high winds, waves or tides). If this situation arises we will try and give as much notice as possible and will give you a full refund or transfer your booking to another date or offer a credit note.
Wavehunters will take no financial responsibility for any other costs incurred for these cancellations (for example travel or accommodation costs) It is important that the contact number and email address left when booking are correct so we are able to get hold of you should we need to cancel. Please check your emails and texts before you set off.
Please note, rain does not affect our service and we will not cancel for these conditions.
