The Animal Surf Academy (ASA) operated by Wavehunters UK Ltd has been established as a demonstration of our commitment to taking British surfing to another level. We want to promote the sport in the UK and get more people in the water having fun and learning about surfing. The ASA has been set up to do this in association with Wavehunters UK – we welcome all surfers from complete novices to advanced surfers to make the most of the Animal Surf Academy and what it has to offer. Our British Surfing Association trained instructors, are also qualified lifeguards and will give you guidance and encouragement. With our help you could even be standing by the end of your first lesson.

Wavehunters UK Ltd is committed to making surfing available to all who have an interest in the sport. We also know that different people want to learn to surf under different conditions. Thus, whilst all sessions are conducted at one of the levels outlined above (First Timers, Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2, and Elite) special sessions are organised for Juniors (for groups of little guys over 7 years of age), Surf Divas (conducted by one of our female Surf Instructors), and Family (juniors and their parents).
